Dr. TJ Hackler, D.C.

Dr. TJ Hackler, D.C. has lived in the Kansas City area for most of his life. He has a beautiful wife and two children that occupy most of his time outside of his practice. He had been a year-round athlete including football, soccer, baseball, basketball and track and field. He spent two years in college playing football, then focused on being a high jumper on the track team at the University of Kansas. Due to his many years of exposure to sports injuries, he was attracted to the chiropractic field, with an emphasis on Active Release Technique (ART). Dr. Hackler graduated from the University of Kansas with an Exercise Science degree and achieved his certification in ART in 2004. He attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City and graduated in 2007.

Dr. Hackler has maintained a very active chiropractic practice in excess of five years. In 2007, he became an ART chiropractic consultant for both the Kansas City Chiefs and the University of Kansas Track and Field team. His dedication and passion for Active Release Technique lead him to become an ART instructor in 2010. Dr. Hackler has significant experience treating Olympic, professional, collegiate and amateur athletes. He is dedicated to helping his patients achieve optimum healing quickly and return to their daily lives without restriction.

Dr. Luke Stanker, D.C.

Dr. Luke Stanker was born and raised in the Kansas City area and has spent most of his life here. He graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Kinesiology, and then Cleveland Chiropractic College where he graduated cum laude. Dr. Stanker has an extensive background in exercise and health, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Dr. Stanker has always had a love for sports and has been an active athlete since childhood. This led him to seek active treatments and therapies for his recurring injuries and that’s when he found a passion in chiropractic and ultimately, his career in helping others with their injuries through chiropractic and Active Release Technique (A.R.T.). With A.R.T., Dr Stanker found a way to not only bring patients relief, but to actually find and fix the problem, not just manage the symptoms. He has worked with all types of athletes across the board, and has been involved with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program for a number of years.

As an avid cyclist and runner, he is a true proponent of the active lifestyle and believes that exercise/activity plays an extremely important role in healthy living, and in the treatment and prevention of injuries.
